Description / Abstract
The focus of the study was to increase revenue and improve the quality of life for veterans at The Brain Center. Two issues were identified as being causes for failing to meet the monthly goals of the organization. They were issues with health insurance and stigma. The research found that veterans' health insurance and mental health literacy were low and may play a significant cause in not seeking treatment. It was determined that partnering with an organization within the community could help educate veterans, create social change, and generate more revenue due to the increased number of veterans seeking treatment.
